4.8× the monthly subscriptions attributed to Google Ads

How sustained funnel testing, richer conversion data and broader search coverage scaled acquisition for a subscription job-search platform.

Four15 began working with the platform in March 2023. Across March–May 2023, Google Ads attributed an average of 11,949 subscriptions per month. By August-October 2026, that average was 57,437, a 381% increase.

The challenge

Scaling a paid subscription product meant working on the journey from search query to subscription. Four15 combined campaign management with landing-page and funnel testing, more data for Google, and a commercial model that better supported increased investment.

Test the experience after the click

The team ran aggressive landing-page and funnel tests. Winning headlines, introductory copy and call-to-action positions informed later page designs. Dynamic landing pages gave the team more ways to match the experience to search intent and keep testing.

Give Google more useful data
Four15 fed more conversion data into Google and worked with the client to use lifetime value by country and device when setting acquisition targets. Campaign consolidation reduced fragmentation: by June 2023, the team had cut the campaign count by roughly half and revisited restrictive negative keywords.

Expand reach, then keep refining

Heavy keyword expansion and repeated ad tests broadened the search program. The team also shifted bids and budgets by geography, including increasing US investment while reducing bids in many other markets. Four15 moved to a more favorable agency pricing model and maintained a consistent level of testing and account work as spend grew.

Nearly double annual volume at a similar unit cost

From calendar 2023 to 2024, Google-attributed subscriptions increased from 224,356 to 447,139, up 99%. Media cost per attributed subscription moved from $29.87 to $30.29, an increase of 1.4%. In 2025, the account recorded 770,844 attributed subscriptions on $27.3 million in Google spend.

The longer-term expansion required more investment. Across the headline comparison, monthly spend rose 609% and media cost per attributed subscription rose 48%. Growth also varied by period: January-October 2026 subscriptions were 6.6% below the same months in 2025. These results show substantial scale, with higher unit costs at the later level of investment.

Build a substantial Meta program alongside Google

Four15 built its managed Meta program in August 2023, then expanded it through creative testing and ongoing optimization. Four15 reports that its program reached a peak month of nearly $400,000 in media spend, adding another paid acquisition channel alongside Google.

The team also used conversion-lift testing to evaluate social investment. The Meta spend milestone describes the size of the program; it is separate from the Google subscription results above.

Four15’s role

The engagement brought paid media, conversion data, landing-page testing and commercial terms into the same ongoing effort. Each round of campaign and funnel work informed the next, supporting a much larger acquisition program over more than three years.
