Case Study

From 58 to 382 LinkedIn leads per month

Expanding B2B demand generation and connecting advertising to sales outcomes.

Four15 helped an established regulatory intelligence software company expand LinkedIn lead generation to more than six times its early 2022 monthly volume. The increase held across seven months: March-September produced 2,673 leads, averaging 382 per month, compared with 58 per month in January-February.

The engagement began in February 2022 and continued through the supplied January 2025 notes. Its first phase established meaningful acquisition scale. Later work concentrated on reaching the right companies and professionals, improving lead quality, and examining how advertising interacted with sales opportunities.

The starting point

The company already had useful content and evidence that buyers responded to it. But LinkedIn was running just two campaigns with one ad in each. The audit identified room to reach more relevant audiences, test additional offers and develop a fuller remarketing program.

The initial media mix put approximately 75% of spend into Google, 10% into Microsoft and 15% into LinkedIn. At kickoff, the client reported that LinkedIn leads were not yet progressing beyond the marketing-qualified stage in 2022. Scaling volume was only part of the assignment; the team also needed a stronger connection between advertising and the sales process.

A sustained expansion rather than a single peak

Every month from March through September 2022 generated at least 309 LinkedIn leads, with a high of 439. Average monthly volume grew 558% relative to January-February. Increased investment funded the expansion, while blended CPL across the seven-month period remained about $48.

How Four15 developed the program
Expanded targeting around the people who buy

Four15 moved beyond the initial campaign structure to test job titles, seniority, industries, professional groups, skills and contact lists. Campaigns addressed pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical-device and clinical-practice audiences, with geographic segmentation to control investment. The QBR documents lead generation across multiple targeting approaches rather than dependence on one audience.

Turned specialist content into acquisition offers

Reports on FDA observations and warning letters, GMP case studies and webinars gave regulatory and quality professionals a reason to engage. Four15 tested those offers through lead forms and different creative formats, then refreshed ads and expanded promising combinations. Later work added assessment offers, document ads and post-webinar campaigns.

The team also tested work-email forms and reviewed seniority and company fit. As the program matured, targeting became more selective, using account lists, sales-team lists and layered audiences. That changed the emphasis from maximizing downloads to reaching people the sales team wanted to speak with.

Connected media decisions to the sales process

Four15 reviewed HubSpot reporting, Salesforce opportunities and LinkedIn engagement at the account level. This helped distinguish an inexpensive content download from a contact or company associated with a commercial opportunity. The team also challenged reporting discrepancies and investigated which interactions could reasonably be linked to advertising.

The later commercial evidence

A September 2024 review identified three closed-won opportunities totaling $321,500 with documented LinkedIn ad interaction. The underlying accounts recorded five, seven and sixteen paid clicks, respectively. These deals show advertising activity alongside real sales outcomes, although the report does not establish that ads originated the deals or caused the revenue.

The full story is an expansion from a small LinkedIn program into a larger demand-generation effort, followed by more selective acquisition and closer sales analysis. Later lead volumes were lower under different budgets and targeting. The defensible growth claim is the sustained 2022 expansion, supported by documented commercial engagement in 2024.Â
